iPhone Video Recorder v1.2.4: upload videos using YouTube account
May 30, 2008
Developer DreamCatcher pushes the limit of your iPhone’s video capturing capabilities as a new version to the Apple iPhone homebrew app, iPhone Video Recorder, has once again popped up. Version 1.2.4 includes extended functionality with your YouTube account, as well as some fixes to help improve its performance.
The new build no longer requires you to sign in to your Google account just to upload videos to YouTube. Logging into your standard YouTube account can now allow you to directly transfer your videos there. Please note that you still need to buy the retail version of this homebrew app if you want to record videos longer than 30 seconds.
Anyway, here’s the complete list of new changes implemented since our previous coverage of iPhone Video Recorder:
- Upload video to YouTube by standard YouTube account
- Better stability
- Bugs fixed
The developer mentioned that the app will continue to get updates as the iPhone firmware upgrades. There were also plans drawn out to prepare iPhone Video Recorder for listing in the AppStore. Registered users will still be entitled to permanent free upgrades should this ever push through.
