May 2, 2008
Sometimes you want to get out of the box and do more than the standard camera functions found on your Apple iPhone. Homebrew developers Bowei Gai, Ajay Panagariya, Prameet Shah, and Samir Shah now give you the chance to explore the world and capture it on virtual film with their homebrew application, Snapture.
Snapture sports various functions not inherent with the native iPhone camera features. It supports different modes as well like the multishot and color modes, which allows you to take accurate and interesting photos.
The latest build of Snapture, version 1.4, packs in several additional features like an adjustable delay timer and added stability for the touchscreen. You can view the complete details of the program on the list below:
- Added an adjustable delay timer
- Modified the way the touchscreen button works for added stability
- Direct link to the new Snapture blog for the community
- Thumbnails now get cropped instead of getting squished
- Fixed problem with settings not being saved sometimes
The community site for the app contains additional instructions on how to install Snapture onto your mobile phone. You can also find Snapture on the Big Boss repository for those of you using Cydia. Anyway, we hope you enjoy using this great app for your iPhone.
